Re: Healing Report - My Injured Back (March 01-03)
My name is Clark and I'm a cynical, skeptical, scientific,
evidence-based,
analytical kind of person by nature. Here are the facts.
My back was injured about six (6) years ago in a warehousing work
accident.
Since then, I have been in pain 24/7, taking many major medications and
suffering in pain without relief. I've been seen by many doctors,
physiotherapists and other specialists. I have been declared
disabled and
given absolutely no hope for any kind of "normal" future.
On Saturday March 1, 2003, on the Alpha course Holy Spirit weekend, my
table
leader laid hands on my back and prayed (including in tongues) for the
healing of my back.
Since this time, I have been pain-free, stunned and mostly silent.
I'm
shocked, awestruck and dumb-founded. I'm almost embarrassed,
ashamed or
afraid to tell others that I've been healed by God.
My experience is so supernatural, I'm numb! I have tested my
healing
(remember, it's my nature). Yesterday, I was up in my attic
crawlspace with
my brother installing extra insulation for 5 strenuous hours. That
night,
my brother was aching but not me. Tough to believe but it's true.
Privately, I have prayed and given thanks to my Father and praise to
Jesus
for my healing. My friend tells me that I now "glow" and
inside, I feel
like I do.
Publicly, I must declare and share my good news and proclaim
"Praise the
Lord" and "Glory to God". I am a personal witness that our God is
unbelievably awesome!
